I haven't checked in here for ages, but thought I would take a chance that the "old" gang, as well as anyone who might take heart from our story,
would read this.
Bosley, my Beloved Australian Shepherd is about to enter his sixth year of remission, after having been diagnosed with a "strikingly aggressive" lymphoma. We chose the UW/Madison protocol and half body radiation. Some have asked if he could have been misdiagnosed, but that is near impossible as one of his litter mates died from T-cell lymphoma (Bosley had B-cell).
I realize that I am the luckiest dog-mom in the world and that these are not typical results; but I wanted to let all of you who are facing this battle know that this IS a battle worth fighting.
