Hello,
My basset hound copper has lymphoma. He was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma back in March of 06. His oncologists were successful at getting him into remission and keeping him there for 439 days, but he did only stayed in his second remission for 69 days. They have now decided to use CCNU (lomustine) every three weeks. I am looking for information on survival rate using this chemo, as well as other alternatives. Copper also has epilepsy, and is on seizure drugs and from my understanding the lomustine is tough on the liver. He will be taking both Denosyl and Milk Thistle to try and help keep his liver healthy.
Copper does have a blog that discusses his treatment: Copper's Journey
Thanks for the help
